What a lovely child's panel we have in stock especially if you like the vintage look.

At the shop I am sewing borders around one of the panels and hopefully you will be able to see it in the next couple of days. I'm giving it a modern vintage twist if there is such a thing by using some new fabrics that I would not normally use and it is looking good.

My friend Kathy McKenzie from Star Quilting who does the best longarm quilting sent me some info on... How to Clean the House.And what a good idea.

1. Open a new file in your PC




2. Name it "Housework"




3. Send it to the RECYCLE BIN



4. Empty the RECYCLE BIN




5. Your PC will ask you "Are you sure you want to delete Housework permanently?"



6. Calmly answer 'Yes" and press mouse button firmly....



7. Feel better?

A pretty quilt on a pretty chair

A customer was talking about my re-vamped chair and this reminded me to show you a picture.
I picked this chair up for $5.00 and it did need some TLC. I had my husband paint it white and then sand it back a little and wow!
It is in the shop and a pretty quilt is now on the chair to make it look even better.

Yes it's time to jump and get this blog page going.

A lot of patchworkers we meet combine a weekend of quilting and wineries. If you are a group who are looking for a weekend away then we are happy to arrange a workshop to suit. All you have to do is ask.
I thought it might be nice to introduce you to a pattern from the new Sarah London Fresh Vintage range.
Sarah had a stand at Darling Harbour this year so you may have seen her patterns and quilts on display. At the moment we love vintage chenille and this is available at the shop. The chenille quilt in the picture is available as a kit but please keep in mind that the chenille squares will vary in colour and texture. Really vintage and beautiful.
