Chalky and Pearl
Paula this is Chalky.I was visiting a few blogs and came across Pink Roses and a Pearl.
I promised Paula my next post would include a picture of Chalky who I thought was just as beautiful as she thought Pearl was. Pearl is a black poodle.
I was bragging about Chalky to her so we decided that everyone can see "Ebony and Ivory"
They are both beautiful.
I have made myself a note to get some updated pictures of Chalky as these are from last winter.
I made a quilt from chenille and flannel last year and draped it over a comfy chair in the shop and within the day Chalky claimed it as his own. He can see everyone that comes in and can have a snooze and not miss anything. But loves everyone.....especially if you play chasings around the shop.

Oh Alison! I love Chalky!!!! He is so handsome and looks like the sweetest thing!!! The quilt you made for him is just beautiful!!! I am so glad you bring him to your quilt shop with you. I know everyone loves him! Only if Pearl and I could come for a visit, but Louisiana is a long way from Australia! I am just happy we can visit through our blogs. It is wonderful! Thank you again for posting a photo of your beautiful Chalky. In my next post I will be posting a link to your blog. My hubby is still helping me post links and pictures. Pearl and I look forward to visiting with you and Chalky again! Blessings, Paula
Chalky is beautiful! Our dogs are Maltese/Poodles too, & they both had little black Poodle mothers. They look so different though, & Leo's father was a larger dog, a Poodle Maltese cross.
I went to visit Pearl, & she is a beautiful little dog too.
Paula/Meg ....I have never been "in love" with a dog before but Chalky has made up for it.
He is even going on holidays with us this xmas break. I hope he also enjoys sitting back looking at the beach. But I draw the line at giving him a glass of wine.
Thank you for visiting.
Chalky is very beautiful!
And... No, I didn't eat all the Rhubarb Pie. There's some left, for all of you. :-))))
In fact, my husband is thinking of having a piece right now. Me too! :-)
Better hurry here, or it _will_ be all gone, though.
